Glendon Harris was born in 1983 and grew up in the remote mining town of Broken Hill in NSW, Australia, where his father worked as a mining engineer and his mother as a singing teacher.

From a young age Glendon realised a keen passion for drawing – regularly drawing caricatures of those around him. Following in his parents footsteps (his father loved to compose music), Glendon also realised an interest in music – in time learning numerous instruments, but excelling in drums and guitar. Through performing in numerous bands, Glendon learned that he enjoyed the recording side of music also – taking time to not only record his bands but also many of his own compositions.

In 2001, Glendon began studying a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of South Australia. While studying he regularly contributed illustrations to the children’s magazine “Wacky – but true!“. He also ventured into the world of magic and balloon sculpture, regularly performing both adult and children’s magic shows under the stage name “Mr G-Wizz”. After graduating in 2005, Glendon worked as a Registered Nurse in Broken Hill Base Hospital for a year before moving to Alstonville, NSW to study a Bachelor of Digital Media (Audio major/Multimedia minor) at SAE Institute (School of Audio Engineering) in Byron Bay.

While studying, Glendon continued to draw, perform magic, and write and record music- producing an EP for a friend in his home studio. Glendon also gained an interest in motion graphics and web design.

In early 2009, Glendon graduated from his course with High Distinctions, before being offered a lecturing position at SAE, Byron Bay in the area of Digital Imaging. Glendon also began work as a freelance web and graphic designer, while dabbling in motion graphics and audio production.

In 2010, Glendon still lectures in Digital Imaging at SAE, recently also taking up part of the lecturing for the Web Technologies unit. While not lecturing, Glendon works as an illustrator – having his first book published in June, 2010. Glendon also freelances in graphic design, web design, motion graphics and audio production (including location sound recording).
